Joint Ventures

Hello Sorors and Greek Family

I need some idea of joint events. Could people please respond with events they have done in the past with other black greek organizations. I would appreciate it.

Thank you in advance

Sorhor,

In the past my undergraduate and graduate chapters have fed the hungry together, cleaned up and spent quality time at different elderly associations, collected items for the poor and needy, and once we even slept outside in the cold and collected funds that went to the local homeless shelter. That was a very difficult community service project! We participated in after school tutor sessions for elementary and middle school children and we did this community service project for the fall and spring semesters with the ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. We also did the latch key program sponsored by the YWCA with Phi Sigma Sigma service sorority for a year. They were some very good programs as well as completing our national community service projects.

I hope this information helped!

Hello all,

We had a freshman social with the Alpha's and we sponsored a sister circle w/ the deltas. These are the only active NPHC chapters on my campus. We don't have such a large black population, so combined efforts make more sense on my campus.

Sister Forum

As a part of the Zeta's Finerwomanhood Week, they invited us and DST to cosponsor a sister forum this evening.

We are all coming together as Black Women, which I think is

Speaking of joint ventures

My chapter Phi Sigma just co-sponsored a Youth Symposium on Saturday, March 2 in conjunction with Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Beta Omega Alumni, Organization of Concerned Black Men and the D.C. Housing Authority. It was a very successful event and the teens really enjoyed themselves.
