Graduate Chapters of Zeta Phi Beta

:¤ I would like to ask the ladies of Zeta Phi Beta a question about your sorority© I just recently graduated from college and I am very interested in joining your Sorority© I know in other sororities, they say if you go graduate chapter your 'paper' or you 'skated' into the organization© Have any of you encountered any of these negative opinions? I 'm determined to still pursue this, whether it's considered 'easy' or not© I'm just really asking to see if this type of negativity is in every organization©

Didn't u post the same message on FinerWoman.Com?

U need to stop worrying about what other people think. If you work for Zeta then how can u ever skate? It's all about the work you put in after u become a member not about how u got there.

Don't let neone steal your joy.

Thank you

Thank you for your reply. I REALLY appreciate your comment and if I have offened anyone I truly appologize. I think my post is a little misleading, so let me offer clarification. I'm really not worried about how others preceive me, that has never been an issue with me at all. Your going to have haters where ever you go and if I stood around worrying about them and what they say you would go crazy. I'm basically asking does anyone see this a being an issue when dealing with other members that pledged during undergrad. That's all. And I really posted it on finer woman to see what others, who don't write on these messageboards have experienced. But like I said if I was out of order, I apologize. But the only way someone can steal your joy is if you give it to them. And my joy is not predicated on the actions of the world but on my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. :) Thanks again for writing me back.

My experience as a non-greek

I can remeber a couple of times where this kind of negativity has happen in my presence© I met this guy once that was a member of a certain fraternity© And he said right in front of me, a non-greek, that he wasn't going to grip this other guy in the same fraternity, because he just filled out his paperwork, got in and really didn't really go through anything© In other words he wasn't 'real'© Then another time where two guys from the same fraternity started to fight because one called the other paper© And lastly, a friend of mind approached a memeber of a certain sorority to let them know she was interested but would be graduating before they had a line, and she told her that in graduate chapter you don't do anything but sit around with a lot of older ladies telling you what to do© That they are not as active as undergrad© What are some of your feelings about these incidents? I'm just throwing this out for the sake of conversation©

My sentiments exactly.
Regardless of whether you became a Zeta undergrad or grad, it's what you do after you join our illustrious(sp?) sorority. Since I have become a Zeta, I have been working nonstop for Z PHI B.

I do not understand this feud among the "pledge" and "paper".

I read somewhere that it does not matter what road you take to get there what's important is what you do there when to get to your destination.

As one member of a Pan-Hell said, that the real "pledging" begins after you cross, (I guess that is when your true feelings and loyaties come out).

I have a membership invitation to join Zeta Phi Beta. Do you have to have a certain GPA for graduate Chapter?

HHassell:)

Why didn't you ask the person who issued the invitation?

she's not satisfied with that answer, apparently.

I don't think she has received an invitation to join; an invitation to move on to the next step maybe or to attend a formal meeting maybe. I would think that if they were in fact inviting her to join, then they would've already checked to ensure that she meets the requirements for membership. I think she's confused and she needs to ask THEM to be clear.

Good luck with getting into Zeta Phi Beta. Going Greek was one of the best decisions I have ever made!

Hello everyone,

I have a question to the ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorortity Incorporated. I attend a University and there aren't any active Zeta's on campus. I am interested in joining but I do not know what my next step should be. Any help?
