"Sorority sisters" by Tajuana Butler
Has anyone read "Sorority Sisters" by Tajuana Butler? I picked it up in a bookstore yesterday because it looked interesting, but I ended up getting something else instead. I'm tired of fictional portrayals of Greek life that are totally inaccurate, and I was hoping someone could tell me if this was any good. It looked like the author was a member of an NPHC sorority, so she should know her stuff. Is it a good book?

It's a great book!!! It focuses more on the relationship between the wonan, moreso than sorority life. (I'd say 70/30) You missed out a a good read. I'm sure its probably been discussed here, so I'd probably do a search for those threads.

FuzzieAlum,
If you do a search for Sorority Sisters, you're bound to find stuff in some of the NPHC rooms, as Honeykiss74 suggested. I think there was also a thread some time ago in one of the general rooms, either Greek Life of Chit Chat. ST Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Epsilon Xi Omega, #8, December 2000 |
Oh, thanks, ya'll. This may make me sound like a moron, but I never even noticed the "search" button. I found a lot of threads on the book when I did a search just now.
