Anyone here from Florida? I'm heading that way on Friday :) I've been to Florida almost every year since I was born and I know all the tourist spots and a few other places and I'm looking for something new to do. I'll mostly be in the Tampa area...does anyone know of any good bars/dance clubs? Thanks :)

Theres tons of things to do in Tampa, I am from Tampa and go home a few times during the year to a rack of different bars and clubs but it alldepends on what kinda scene u like and music and etc. But if you want a list or something let me know and I'llsend u a PM with abunch of Tampa Places

Just looking for a place to have a few drinks and do some dancing. I don't care what kind of music...I listen to it all. Are they places that have live rock bands? My husband and I are also a big fan of Irish Pubs. We will go anywhere from a small hole-in-the-wall bar to a huge nightclub.

Just wanted to say have a blast!:D:D I'm off to Orlando myself this weekend....Universal here I come baby!:)

I'm going to Orlando and Disney for the first time ever in 1 month. A sister is on co-op there and we'll be visiting her and hangin around the city. I'm so excited to see Disney World. I feel deprived b/c I was never taken there as a kid

Brandon and I went to Orlando last year during spring break and had a blast. We went to Universal Studios and Disney as well as various museums in downtown Orlando.

Personally, I enjoyed Universal Studios better than Disney-- though I had lots of fun in the "countries" at Epcot. The Hardrock Cafe in right by Universal was great.

If you are looking for a great night life, (clubs, etc) you should look into Disney's Pleasure Island. It's for people 21+ and I heard the clubs are very unique- the floor spins around!

Check out the "upside down" mansion in downtown Orlando as well as the Ripley's believe it or not museum. :)

My mom got our family annual passes to Disney, so I'm there almost every weekend:D :D
I personally would avoid Ybor City in Tampa; it's dirty and full of teenagers pretending to be 22 so they can drink and hang out with the skanky 35+ year old men there. The actual city of Tampa is great, though; down near the Lightning's rink, there's some nice little nightclubs. I haven't been there in a while, but I'll see if any of my sisters who live closer to Tampa than I do can remember the names of any of the clubs.

I really don't go into the Disney/Universal section of Orlando all too often...it's way too touristy for me. The locals tend to hang out downtown on Church Street and other areas of downtown that have night life. Church Street has a lot of really good bars (Irish one too). Also, there's a club called Tabu which is famous because people spot lots of famous Orlando residents there such as the guys from N'Sync, Backstreet Boys, etc. I was actually there on a night that Joey from N'Sync was there. No, I didn't talk to him....there was no way I could get through the whole crowd of girls that surrounded him.
