Info For Guys.

Guys I was just reading that the perfect age for our female mates is half our age plus 7. So factor that into your life plan . . . because it means the ideal age will change.

chopper816 02-20-2002 01:59 AM

that kinda sucks, that means the age my girl should be is 16 or 17, thats too young for me!!!

James 02-20-2002 02:02 AM

Wait till you are 45 lol . . . it works for you then . great author.

DGPhoney 02-20-2002 02:15 AM

Where did you hear that, the nation of islam?

No really, it was even in the movei Malcolm X.

So do you believe that your wife should be veiled too James?

There really needs to be a smirking smilie, lol. You know it's all in fun James! I promise not to sit on your beard next time we all go out and we'll be even (such a social gaffe, but your standard dwarf's is only chest length, yours was about at your knees, no?).

GreekLetterGirl 02-20-2002 01:19 PM

oh lord where do you come up with this stuff ?!?!

The1calledTKE 02-20-2002 02:23 PM

LOL! you tell him Amycat.

Misogynist

Amy says to James - I am so SICK of these lame posts about women-- where your posts in the past have been well thought out and insigtful, lately you've been coming across as a real misogynist. Maybe less time spent online and more time out in the real world cultivating relationships and friendships is what you need-- get some sun or something, change the scenery. To make a statement like you did here (and other recent ones) is ridiculous.

I couldn't agree more, Amy. In my opinion misogynists suffer from penisless envy...lol.

Peaches-n-Cream 02-20-2002 02:27 PM

Amycat- We're about the same age, and I just have to say don't knock it 'til you've tried it. Older men can be a lot of fun...if you can get them out of their walkers. HEEHEE!
Actually in a span of one year I went from dating a 23 year old to a 50-something. The young one was half my age plus 7, and if you use James' equation, the older one was still too old for me.
James, I strongly recommend that you avoid using that equation when selecting you next girlfriend because you might wind up at a high school prom since you are so young yourself. :p

valkyrie 02-20-2002 04:37 PM

Amycat, you are my idol. I'm serious. Thanks for saying what needed to be said. :) And while we're at it, I'm all in favor of younger men as well.

As a side note, isn't it commonly known that women reach their sexual prime in their thirties, while guys reach theirs in their early twenties? That seems like a win/win situation to me... ;)

Well the thread was really a joke. The Author that mentioned it was Robert Heinlein (sp) who wrote Stranger in a Strange LAnd.

However, thank you for your opinions.

:)

If it makes you feel any better, I laughed when I read it. It is hard to convey sarcasm is this medium, so I can understand why people got offended, but I think most of what you post is pretty damn funny.

Tom Earp 02-20-2002 06:04 PM

James, it looks like you had a Brain Fart on this one!!!!!:D :D

If they are past 24, I cant handle them! Well I dont handle much anymore anyway!:(

h2oot 02-20-2002 07:12 PM

It wasn't me, officer!

If he meant it in jest then maybe he should have put a smiley behind it or something. Considering the other posts that Amycat alluded to (e.g., this isn't the only one) its easy to assume James meant what he said. I know lots of peeps who say something totally off the wall, then depending on reaction reply, "I was just teasing". Yeah, right!

ansturge 02-20-2002 11:50 PM

I really dont think he would say that and mean it

but then again sometimes you just like to get a rise out of people.

*Sigh* No one appreciates sarcasm anymore
