Queen of the Damned
Are you going to see it?
|
Hi ladies of Z Phi B! I hope you don't mind my posting here but...
I plan to see Queen on the Damned. I LOVE horror movies and I am looking forward to seeing the late Aaliyah. |
Well.... Maybe!!! I would only go and see it because the late "Aaliyah" was in it and I would want to suppoert her last movie. I do not even like horror movies and the plot did not look that interesting for me to see. Now if you reall ywant to see a movie, go and see john Q. I heard that it is hot. |

I heard Aaliyah is not even in the movie until well into the movie and they are promoting the movie so hard with her b/c of her untimely death...

Ripping off Aaliyah
I am hurt and saddened by the fact that the Anne Rice and her team will benefit from Aaliyah's death. From my understanding, the Queen of the Damned was supposed to be on video, not in theaters. I hope the movie flops. Aaliyah's fans should remember Aaliyah in a more positive light. Her songs have always been uplifting and fun to listen to. I will not be see the movie because I want to remember Aaliyah in a good way. :) |
I think that it is wrong to say that you hope the movie flops. When Aaliyah was alive, Im sure she put much dedication in her work as always. I went to go see it opening night, and it was not what I expected it to be, but I enjoyed seeing her performance. I am always going to support her when ever I get the chance too. She was a very talented woman and will be missed. :)

Sorry you misunderstand
Queen of the Damned was never intended to be in the theaters
it was supposed to go to video only. The producers had no intention of sending the movie to theaters until after Aaliyah's death. On the 2001 MTV Music Awards, Aaliyah said she just finished shooting the Queen of the Damned the movie. There was a report stating that Aaliyah's brother completed some more speaking parts for the movie Queen of the Damned after Aaliyah's death. The movie was complete before the 2001 MTV Music Awards. I am sorry you feel that way. But I do not appreciate any one profiting on the death of any one. Yes, I want to remember Aaliyah as an angel, not a demon.[COLOR=royalblue][SIZE=3] |
