Any good workout videos??

Hey everyone I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried workout videos and if they have what they thought? I just finished doing the Cindy Crawford workout (a very old video)... anyways let me know. Ciao

Tae Bo

I haven't tried it, but my sister swears by Billy Blank's Tae Bo tapes. I believe he uses a lot of kickboxing moves and she says it's a great workout.

I love the Tae Bo DVD! (though I find the kickboxing classes at the gym more modivational)

I'm curious to find out how the NY Ballet workout is...

Anything by Richard Simmons Groovin to the......whatever series. I don't know if you want to lose weight or just tone up, but my friend lost 38 pounds doing richard simmons everyday. I've done it a few times and my body truly feels awesome when im done~

I have the New york City Ballet Companys Stretch and warm up tape and it's awesome! It helps tone and builds muscle. It's very helpful and makes you really focus on each body part . Two Thumbs Up!!!

Almost anything by The Firm is great! I have their basics series, The Hare, and Firm Strength. My favorite is Fim Strength and my least favorite is the hare. They have a website now that you can check for all of their titles, or just go to collagevideo.com OR fitnessvideos.com

I am a workout video addict and some of my favorites include:

The FIRM Classics series, especially "Body Sculpting Basics"...I love just about every Firm video I've tried. They require a lot of equipment but it's worth the time and effort. They're not kidding about the "results in 10 workouts" thing.

Kathy Smith: Timesaver Lift Weights to Lose Weight, the New Yoga Series, and the Kickboxing Workout

The Method: Pilates Precision Toning (I just did that one this morning!)

the original Buns of Steel with Greg Smithey. Stop that laughing, it's actually a very good workout.

I have been dying to try Pilates!!! Does anyone know what stores actually sell the tapes? I don't want to pay boku-bucks to buy it off the infomercials.

I like Tae Bo and The Grind workouts.

This is gonna sound cheesy but back in high school I opted to take a challenging aerobics crosstraining class instead of boring gym. Well anyways, on Thursdays we did work-out videos. The best one we ever did was an older (I think 80s) Buns of Steel video. The people were all in 80s gear with bright legons and headbands...but DAMN did it work our butts and thighs! Our instructor, who was in excellent shape, said that she'd give anyone who could make it throughout the video without pausing for a break a day off. No one could, that's how intense it was!

Just don't ask me to do step aerobics. I can't stand step aerobics ;)

By the way, those cheesy commercials for Darrin's Dance Grooves--now doesn't that look like a fun way to exercise? rofl

I like Tae Bo and The Grind workouts.

I got my Pilates videos at Target, for about 7 dollars a tape. Since it's the newest workout craze, they usually have a lot in stock.

The Grind workouts are pretty fun, but since I moved my living room is now too small to do the workouts :(
