"Fraternity Hazing and PTSD"

I just saw this article and I figured people here would be chatting about it but I haven't seen any posts (maybe I didn't look hard enough). What do you think?

To give no clue as to when the "first alum" was there is irresponsible journalism. The fraternity has been there for 95 years.

It's kind of been discussed here (in the abstract) to death. That sort of behavior, if it's happening belongs in the past. If not for moral reasons, then for financial reasons.

Keep in mind this is only happening in a very small fraction of our chapters and we do not turn a blind eye to it. When a case like this (if true) pops up, it's almost always a surprise to the national organization who deals with them judiciously.

One of the characters in my first novel, Lazarus, deals with undiagnosed PTSD in the sequels Covenant and Epiphany due to the hazing he endured in the original novel.
