I'm trying to gather some information about greek history on the Rutgers, New Brunswick campus. I've been searching around aimlessly but I'm not sure exactly where to go. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

if they can't help, get a list of all fraternities and sororities on campus. individually, you could go to each of them. i'm sure they'll have some basic info about that chapter's history. the major problem w/this way is that you probably won't get any information about organizations that are no longer on campus. good luck.

Try and get your hands on a book titled "The Bairds Manual of College Fraternities." It should list any and all GLO's that have ever been on your campus and the date they were founded. You might try the NIC web site as well. Good luck!

Don't know if you're still looking for info., but since I went to Rutgers, I could pretty much tell you all there is to know about the past 150 years of greeks.

If you are a student there, I think you'll be more than satisified with Alexander Library's New Jersey Special Collections archives. It's in the lower level of the library. They have many historical books and information going back to the 1700's.
