Starting A New Dz
 

Hey girls
I am a member of a local sorority as you all probably know, and we are seriously considering going(trying to go) Delta Zeta. We have contacted your nationals, and they are sending us info, but was wondering if anyone can help me with any questions. Like how long our pledge process will take, how to handle any adversity from the school, and some more info on DZ. Thanks sisters for your time

I'm not exactly sure how the affiliation process works for local sororities going national, BUT I just wanted to say that I'm really happy you all are interested in Delta Zeta!! :) It's a great organization (in my own rather biased opinion :p ). I wish you all the best of luck!

The pledging process is a maximum 8 weeks long, which I'm pretty sure is the same in all chapters. I'm not sure what kind of adversity you're talking about, but if you have any more specific questions I'm sure that myself or anyone else on this board can (or will try!) to help you out. ;)

Achtung beat me to the punch! :D Yes, 8 weeks is the standard length of pledging... As for handling adversity from your school, are you talking about problems with other Greeks or with the administration?

Thats a great Idea and best of Luck to you! I just got done Pledging and the standard process was about 8 weeks! It was a great time! I would do it all over again! I love being a DZ!
