Sororities at Syracuse
Just curious to know about the sororities at Syracuse U. Popularity,size,etc.....Any info you have is great!!!

In addition to the previous question, I was wondering why AOII lost the chapter at SU. If anyone knows let me know, thanks.

I'm proud to say that Phi Sigma Sigma recently recolonized and recharted one of our oldest chapters at Syracuse. I don't know much more than that, though.

Syracuse NPC Sororities
FYI I don't know how old this web site is because Phi Sigma Sigma was not listed, although they have a chapter there. |
When I was an active not too long ago, our PD of Chapters was an alum of the Syracuse Kappa chapter (Beta Tau). She had a wonderful time there, granted this was years ago, but I think she still checks up on them from time to time...she's always said good things about them. I can't really verfiy anything because I've never been there, but that's what I've heard.

K, I graduated from SU last spring, and ya, you could say i was involved in the greek scene. the sizes of chapters vary 60 on up over 100.
The larger houses are Alpha Phi, AXO, Theta Tri Delt and KKG. These are also among the more popular houses, and they are usually all between 80 and 100 members. Some other nice houses are G Phi B, A E PHi, DG, and Pi PHi AGD is gone, AOTT has been gone for two years now, for reasons that I won't get into here because they were not good. Phi sig reclonized when I graduated and they seem to be pretty popualr right now. AXO is on a hot streak right now, they are the reigning greek week and homecoming champs. Greek week w/ Theta Chi and Homecoming with, none other than PKT! |
I went to school in upstate New York and visited Syracuse several times. Although my chapter is gone :( , I remember that there was a great school spirit and a lot of things to do such as concerts and parties.

I don't understand what it says on that site about Gamma Delta Theta. Do they have members from a branch campus or something? |
