Percentage of School is Greek?

I'm sure this question has been asked before...I did a search but did not come up with anything.

What college/university did you/do you attend?
Approximately how many students attend your school?
Approximately what percentage of your school is Greek?
How many Greek organizations are there?
Have the overall numbers in organizations decreased or increased?
Does your Greek system, as a whole, do anything as a group effort to try and promote Greek life?

Here are my answers:
University of Michigan-Flint

6500 students, Approximately less than 2% of students are Greek

2 NPC, 1 Local (Delta Phi Epsilon, Phi Sigma Sigma, Alpha Theta Chi)
1 IFC, 1 Local (Theta Chi, Kappa Delta Xi)
4 NPHC (Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, Alpha Phi Alpha)
1 GLBT (gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender) Organization (Alpha Lambda Omega)

Our numbers have stayed about the same

We all get along but we don't really pull together to get the word out

Iowa State Cyclones!

Iowa State University

# undergraduates: 20,470
# fraternity men: 1,487 out of 11,347 (13%)
# sorority women: 1,093 out of 9,123 (12%)
Percentage total Greeks: 13%
# fraternity housing: 28 (27 NIC, 1 local)
# sorority housing: 14
# local/multicultural sorority: 2
# NPHC: 7

Number relatively the same, I think, and we as a group promote the Greek system.

University of Kansas
About 18,000 undergrads and 7,000 graduate students
20% of the students go Greek
13 (soon to be 14) sororities and 26 fraternities, 9 BGLOs, 1 Hispanic sorority and 1 Hispanic fraternity
Numbers have stayed about the same
If Greeks try to promote Greek life, I haven't seen it.

no, they think of it, but don't..used to have a magazine to distribute to frosh but stopped publishing it 2 yrs ago...the Inter-fraternity Sorority Council wasn't even functioning last year.

At my school only about 5% of the students are Greek (~1000 out of ~20000). To make things worse, the school's administration, particularly the university president, is very definately anti-Greek. They'd shut us all down just for the hell of it if they ever had the opportunity. The entire Greek community on my campus only gets about 0.008% of the funds available to campus organizations even though we represent about one in every twenty students.

University of Ottawa:
25 thou. undergrads
7 orgs
< 1% greek body
slight increases, potential is up the rise...greater co-operation among groups, trying to work together for a change.
