favorite Chinese food?

I live near a Chinese restaurant and I get a lot of take out, but whenever I try a new dish I end up disappointed. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Moo Goo Gai Pan kicks ass, people normally avoid it cause they have no idea, and its one of the best and healthiest choices on the menu. It's chicken and chinese veggies and mushrooms in a light sauce, very nice over some white rice.

Spring rolls kick ass, not as heavy or oily as egg rolls.

Dim Sum also kick ass.

Grand Marinier shrimp, kinda heavy but sweet jesus is that stuff good.

Lobster cantonese kicks ass.

House special wonton soup w/shrimp & chicken also kicks ass.

Chinese food, in general, kicks ass. I love this cuisine! Too bad most of this chinese food isn't even traditional. A fraternity brother of mine was born in china and grew up in hong kong and scoffs when he sees what Americans call chinese food. But, ignornace is bliss in this case.
