Your Beta Charm Bracelet
 

I think the Beta Sigma Phi achievement band is one of our sweetest traditions! Do you collect the charms? Does your chapter give them as awards or do individuals buy them? Do you wear yours regularly?

I hadn't been wearing mine, but earlier this week, I pulled it out. I think I'm going to buy a few charms to commemorate the offices that I've held. My first chapter didn't have the funds to buy charms as awards, so I've purchased my charms myself in the past. My most recent charm was the Pioneer charm given by International. It's cute!

I do collect charms. My chapter gives them out at Revealing Day of each year and then each state convention has charms to attendees. I have all of mine on a bracelet, however, I do not wear it often outside of conventions. It doesn't go with a lot of stuff! Soon I will have to start a second bracelet!

That's great! I haven't attended any conventions, so I didn't realize that there were convention charms. What a wonderful tradition!

Sorry for the crash as I'm not a member of Beta Sigma Phi but I googled and looked this up because it was really interesting to me and I think this is a great tradition. Anyone have a picture of their's to share?

I'll try to get a picture of mine! I think it is a really fun, special part of Beta Sigma Phi.

Maybe I should have said it is a tradition at least in Kentucky for our conventions. I haven't been to other states, but know quite a few ladies around here who have gone/go every year. I will ask them!
