Kappa Store
Hey everyone!
I'm wondering if anyone knows where the Kappa Kappa Gamma store is. According to my sisters, it's on one of the U of Washington campuses...but I have no idea which one. I'm desperate for some KKG paraphenlia!!! |
KKG_babe, one place to try is campus classics. they have catalogs and a website, and they usually make greek clothing and other items. just another thing to check out :)

The Dawg House I am not sure if it is still open, because I couldn't find it in www.yellowpages.com Go to the Delta Gamma forum and email Rxychldr...she is a DG at UW and she can tell you if that store still exists or not!! GOOD LUCK! |
Do you have time to order via phone or Internet? If so, use The Key Source . That's where I get my Kappa stuff...I bought from them a lot because I went to a tiny college 150 miles from the nearest KKG chapter and probably 500 miles from the nearest Greek store. They have great service.

Kappa Star
I've gone to The Key Source, but it just costs an arm and a leg for shipping. I've been planning to go to the Seattle area:)

KKG Babe,
If you use The Key Source, a portion of the sales goes to help Kappa. Just thought you should know. I always buy from them. Martha |

There is also a sports company from Europe called Kappa (not to be confused with the cheerleading shoe company Kaepa).
They have some stuff that has the word KAPPA on it. You see that stuff a lot in Europe and Australia...(North America is way more into Nike brand). Anyhow, if you were "stuck", then that could be a sort of substitute.... USA Kappa (sportswear company) locator Kappa Canada (again, the sportswear company) Places in BC that carry Kappa Sportswear Interesting Kappa blurb about their logo |
Re: Re: Re: Kappa Store
When I was in England, I loved seeing the "Kappa" brand stuff everywhere... until some friends told me it has a negative connotation, and they call girls who wear it "Kappa Slappers" - basically snobby girls who wear too much make-up. :) Then I was not so happy about it.

you think that's bad? Read Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban . There are nasty Dark creatures mentioned called Kappas. Maybe J.K. Rowling is bitter...just kidding.

http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~pi4t-kmr.../demone11.html Kappa is the most famous demon in Japan. They live in all Japanese rivers. They are the children about 4 or 5 years old and have a dish on the top of head and a shell in the back. They like sumo and go down man and horse into river. And they love girls. In the east of Japan, called Suiko(Water Tiger). and this is what they are in Harry Potter: Water-dwellers who look like scaly monkeys with webbed hands, Kappas will grab and strangle waders in their ponds (PA8) According to Snape, the Kappa is commonly found in Mongolia (PA9), but the textbook states that the Kappa is a Japanese creature (FB).
