ZBT members under investigation for harrassing veterans

With all of the hazings causing closuer of Greeks,
this has to be the lowest of about anything I have ever seen or heard of!

SHAMEFUL is just one word I could use!:mad:

Update: Police report that the case has been closed, and no arrests have been or will be made. Due to lack of cooperation from the fraternity and the inability of a witness to positively identify a suspect, there is, reportedly, no probable cause for charges.

The "inability" to identify a suspect makes me wonder how much of that actually happened. There were some people who posted to Reddit that they were in the chapter and that the spitting part did not happen. They said that there was some conflict between the two groups, but that no one spit on anyone or disrespected a flag.

According to a report (below) Panama City Beach police found no "malicious intent” or “criminal wrongdoing” by ZBT members. The investigation did find “a rash of bad behavior that disrupted the soldiers’ retreat."

This stunk to me as soon as I heard it, so I'm not surprised by the ultimate findings.

In this day and age, if a group of fraternity members assaulted veterans, there would be multiple recordings of it on camera phones. The fact that none of the witnesses came forward to law enforcement spoke volumes to me as well.
