Rush - Informal
 

I am a second semester sophmore about to go thru rush. This is my second semester at this University. I was just wondering what sororities want to see. Do they still want to see my high school awards and activities?? Or does that not matter anymore? I am really excited about rush week. Any sugestions I would love to hear??
Also, what exactly is informal rush?

I went through informal rush right after Formal, so mine was a bit hasty. But I did get to be a rusher in the Spring informal. It is much moe laid back, and gives you a great chance to meet the women from the different houses in a relaxed atmosphere. Don't forget to ask all the question ou have, just because it's relaxed, doesn't mean you shouldn't ask (I only speak from experience because the first girl I ever rushed asked me every hard and tricky question you could thing of! It turned out wonderfull tho, she later joined the house!)

Hey! My local does informal rush.......we like to see good grades and real interest in the sorority. Also, we like talkative people. Like when we talk to you we like more to an answer than 2 words like if I say what made you want to join a sorority you should say more than I just want to go greek. You can say that but put a lot into your answers and that will take care of your interest in the sorority and being talkative you can even ask questions to the rusher. I don't know about other rushers here but believe it or not I am kinda shy outside of the internet but if someone else initiates and can hold a conversation or if I initiate and someone else can hold a conversation I can talk for days. And we make sure that the pnm will be a good fit to our sorority. So good luck be interested keep a postive attitude, talk their ear off and blow em' away! :D
