Expressing Interest Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority

After much research and thought, I have decided that I would love to express interest in pursuing membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha (IF OFFERED). And yes, I understand discretion is a HUGE part of the process. I have attended a couple events, but have not built any real relationships with members. I have a group of friends that I am really close with that have developed relationships with girls who are currently members, and I'm wondering if it is too late for me to "put myself out there" this spring semester (which theres only 4 weeks left) if there is (hypothetically) a chance of there being a line next fall semester.

There are a couple events that I'm planning on attending this semester and I am confident in my credentials, but even if I was to attend every single event next semester before letters of intent are to be turned in,do I stand a chance because I know who you know is a major part of the process and I understand nobody would want to view someone as a potential sister if they don't know who they are at all.

I'm willing to make every effort to get to know members, but I still would like an opinion.

Showing that discretion should probably start right here. You will not find answers on GC.

Yeah, discretion is key but you just told the entire Internet. I don't go to your school nor am I a member of AKA but I know which campus you're at.
