It's raining here as I write this message. How appropriate. If any of you have been to stophazing.org, and checked out the sorority/fraternity messageboard, you will know of a "denounced." He's convincing many people to not only denounce their organization, but give him their ritual as well. He's putting them into print! Is there anything that can be done? One of his most recent acquisitions was the Pike ritual. This worries me... I really don't want to see him getting ahold of KD's ritual, or any of the other sororities or fraternities. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif ::sigh::

First of all, welcome to GreekChat.

"Denounced" is a minister that has caused problems on this message board. Because of his actions and his threats to many GC users, he has been blocked from posting on this site. While the minister claims to have these rituals, I wouldn't take him seriously. Whatever he has is probably fake.

Because of that, "Denounced" and the subject of ritual trading has been a very touchy subject on GC. This has been a topic that has been discussed before, but to avoid flame wars they have been removed from the boards (that's why you probably won't find many of them by doing a search). While most of us can keep a civil discussion going, there are many nutcases out there who take things too far--ON PURPOSE, and usually this topic is often the ammo they need to do so.

I've been to that site for looking up info. and stumbled into the message boards. I for one think this minster fellow makes up everything he says. He probably creates accounts and posts the messages of people saying they gave him their ritual stuff. If you have the energy and free time, feel free to post there, but honestly you'd be wasting your time, just my opinion.

It's always nice to see another KD online. just thought I would interject that it is quite impossible to give all the rituals without a ritual book-- which would undoubtly be stolen. anyways they always get everything wrong on those secrets site-- I would almost say read it for the entertainment value http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

i have also seen this "denounced" character on other message boards preaching against the greek system. he doesn't have much of a chance, does he?

I was once looking at a stop hazing page and it was a girl who described being hazed, and she also used some symbols that have to do with my organization. I was embarrassed that any of our chapters would resort to hazing, but what bothered me even more is that the owner of this page only "x'd" out the name of my organization. It was obvoius which it was. I do NOT want my sorority to have a bad name. From what I know of other chapters, my sorority is a pretty well respected GLO. It would be a shame for any sisters to give anyone ANY reason to have a different opinion of us.

Pledge period is suposed to be about fun and getting to know your future sisters. That's how it was for me.
