recs needed for Fraternity rush at Ole Miss
 

My son will be a Freshman at Ole Miss. My daughter will be a junior there.
We are from out of state. Does he need recs for each fraternity? How tough is fraternity rush?

Fraternity Recruitment is different than Sorority Recruitment. I know that SigEp has a place for members to submit a man for membership. ( I can only speak for my organization. )

Pi Kappa Alpha's website allows either the individual to express interest or an Alum to submit a recommendation.

Unfortunately, there is no longer a Sig Ep chapter at Ole Miss.

NewtoOleMiss, fraternity rush is NOTHING like sorority rush. It is pretty low key & laid back in comparison. Take a look at the fraternity rush page from last year:

It would be most helpful if your son could get an invitation to attend some of the
spring parties, although it is getting pretty late to do that. Hopefully your daughter can help him with some introductions.
