Is rushing as a sophomore ok at Clemson?

I was unable to attend Rush last year. I want to rush this coming fall as a sophomore because I really want to experience greek life. Will I have a harder time getting in sororities?

We cannot tell you what the likelihood is of you getting a bid from any chapter. Only thing for sure: if you do not participate, your likelihood of getting a bid is zero.

But do sororities look at sophomores differently because of their class year?

In order to give yourself the best chance I think you need to keep an open mind to all of the sororities. I'm not sure what would make one group more prestigious over another.

I also included a link to Clemson's greek life page that might provide some general info

I'm a current sorority member at Clemson, and all groups are required to take upperclassmen in their quota, so no group will refuse to take them. I also strongly advise you to keep an open mind, as every group at Clemson is equally wonderful and picking out your favorites ahead of time will only lead to heartbreak.

If you have friends in sororities already, talk to them about going through recruitment so they know to look for you. Get recs for all groups if you can, and don't take anything for granted.

Unless you have a time machine, it doesn't really matter.
