Shark Tank segment on customized sorority clothing

ABC Shark Tank tonight (3/6)
My DirecTV guide says that Shark Tank will have a segment on "custom recruitment clothing for sororities".

I'm dvr-ing it but skeptical that it anything new to us.

I know there is a Chi Omega from NC State involved with the company (it's called Frill)- the Chi Omega Facebook page has been promoting this episode.

Maybe I'm just having a "new mom brain" moment ... but I looked at their Web site, and I don't see how the sorority stuff is related to sororities.

I guess it's because you can bulk order stuff for your chapter and they give a percentage of the proceeds to the philanthropy?

Doesn't Revelry already do this?

They sang the Chi Omega favorite "Do Do Do Do Wop Wop"

Love the name Frill!

They knew their stuff. Impressive entrepreneurs.

Congrats to them on getting a deal with Barbara Corcoran & Kevin O'Leary.

The film crew from Shark Tank was at NC State with our Alpha Kappa Chapter yesterday filming a follow-up segment.

I watched the segment. It's a great idea.

I know there are other companies who do attendant dresses (Lula Kate, whom my friend used for ours back in 2012), but awesome idea to corner the sororities. I love their whole process, too, with the fittings right on site. That would have helped me a ton when I was ordering my dress and couldn't figure out which size I needed.

Yes. But, I don't think they donate to philanthropies.

I get the concept and think it's awesome, but I'm not sure the styles that I've seen on the site will look good on various body types.

Pepsi didn't say, "Coca-Cola already does this."
