Jonathan is a New Kid on The Block.

Aly and Steve competed at the Sochi Olympics, she is a short track speed skater, he is a bobsledder.

Lebya is a Delta Sigma Theta

Jonathan was always my favorite New Kid, and he and Harley are just adorable together. I liked the Olympians and the Blonde Date duo too.

I couldn't believe how tricky that dance task was. I'm surprised none of the teams who were there well into the night switched to the other task.

What surprised me about that was how disproportionate the two tasks were. Typically, the two tasks are much more comparable in terms of difficulty/length of time to complete.

I was sad to see Flight Crew go - they had such good attitudes.

I'm liking the Legal Team so far.

Ooh second episode aired as well!

I like the legal team and the blondes.

Blair and Hayley are hilarious. He's not into her at all, and she's the complete opposite. I've never been on a blind date but I can only image what he's going through.

I like the Olympians and the blonde with the nerd (is that the blonde date?).

I have always said, when watching this, that I would never take the task where you have to perform it to their satisfaction. There is almost always one detail or one step that people miss or can't get. I also thought the sake one sounded really hard and was super surprised that they only had to know ONE of bottles for real. I thought different groups would be ordering different ones. They obviously thought that also since one contestant turned to another person at the table to get his order and he just shook his head.

I'm not thrilled with the dating component. I think it makes it pretty cheesy and I keep thinking "Is Amazing Race almost done?" It feels like a gimmick that a show would try in desperation.

Blair is such an asshat!

I'm enjoying this season -- I was prepared to write it off because of the gimmick, but I'm actually enjoying it.
