hey sisters. i am finally taking my first little sis this semester and i was wondering if any one could give me any unique ideas for gifts that you all have given/received. also, if you know any good "family passdown" type thing i could use!
i would really appreciate it! i don't have any spare time to be creative it seems!!

Hey funny you should have posted that, I just went with my roommate so she could buy stuff for her diamond. We ended up getting this chain linked photo frame and she's going to put a picture of her family in there that are still in school...so the first one will have her big, then her, and her little. My family passes down a set of family letters that the delta tau delta chapter has dubbed the scarelet letters. Other than that I think anything that you get and then personalize it with paint pens or puffy paint she'll really like.

I love diamond days, I was just curious about how you guys do yours. maybe a few of us could get together and chat about it sometime

At our first chapter retreat where we first met our diamond sisters, they made us pillows with our letters on it. It went straight on to my bed =) Also it was said before, maybe buy her some family letters...My diamond sis bought me letters with stars in them because I'm in the star family, and then she bought me some personal family letters between me and her with a leopard print on them, she loves leopard!! so we decided that in the fall when i get my new diamond sis and she gets hers we'll buy the stars and leopard letters for our new ones and the leopard will be just for our tiny family. Also you can get some cheap photo frames and with paint and stuff put your name, her name and adpi on it etc...Also what my diamond sis did is buy a tupperware container, and decorated it very perdy with adpi <>sis forever etc on it and inside she put candy and stuff like that in it. I also got some really nice picture frames and on the outside she put alpha delta pi and a poem about friends in the frame and then ADPi in another one...And a few other things during diamond days, she also took me out to dinner a few times and lion stuffed animals etc. So yea just get creative! she'll love it =)
