Good story http://www.plauder-smilies.de/happy/xyxthumbs.gif ...made me nostalgic!
It's funny...My mom saw that she was a Delta, and since she just saw Delta, she calls me and says..."I did not know Katie Couric was one of your sorors!" I had to inform her for the 5,000th time that all sororities that start with Delta are not the same. I am a DST, not a DDD! Still, she cracks me up not knowing the difference! Too cute! http://www.plauder-smilies.de/lach.gif Thanks for the info! |
That was a good piece (I've always been a Katie Couric fan)... but I wonder how all of the Tri Delts feel about her using the, "Delta Delta Delta, Can I help ya, help ya, help ya" line.
I guess I always thought that Tri Delts took offense to that skit so I was surprised that she used it. Enlighten me... |
Katie Couric on TODAY...Tri Delts...
During the week of May 21, the TODAY Show anchors each did a piece on their college years...
Part of Katie Couric's report took her back to the Tri Delt House at the University of Virginia. It's a nice positive part of the report. Look at it at www.msnbc.com/news/577498.asp#BODY Also, take a look at my Alma Mater in Matt Lauer's report. Fraternally, DeltAlulm |
I am Tri-Delt and yes that slogan is slightly played out and a little annoying, yet I think at times people can take sorority life a little far and I think Kaite Couric has a great personality and great sense of humor no to buy inot the menatlity that Greek life is serious and it's all about stuffy organizations....I think she's an awesome individual and represents my sorority with the highest ideals, which can include humor

I loved the segment! I wish more T.V. personalities would broadcast their greek life - just like Katie did- you could really feel her smile as the door opened to the Tri-Delt house!

I loved it too!! Thanks DeltAlum!! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif
