Goals for 2015?

I'm going to better myself and become a more positive person. And also, I'm especially hoping to have a Ms. Phrozen Sands on my shoulder by summer Lol.

I'm trying to focus on being more comfortable in my own skin. I need to lose weight--and that's part of it, but I also have to learn to be happy again. This year has taken a great toll on me emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I want to better myself in all of those areas. I need to learn that my happiness is NOT defined by the scale. I am also happy to be getting back to class after taking the summer and fall semesters off. The one thing 2014 has taught me is how to have grace. I'm used to having it for others, but not for myself. This year, I will have grace with myself.

ETA: And I'm going to kick this cold's arse. Seriously tired of coughing.

summer_gphib, I wish you well in this.

Me? Piano's my favorite instrument and I've dabbled with learning it at various points, particularly the last 1.5 years or so. After Christmas I went all in and bought a digital piano. .....significant investment so it's a big step for me. Really, it boils down to making time to put in work (shouldn't I mean play?) at it every day -- be it chord progressions, inversions, scales (uuugh), reading, whatever.

I've got some other goals for 2015, but this is the one I'm most jazzed about (pun intended).

my goals:
1-I need to get back to my low carb lifestyle. Getting back on the wagon is so hard! But I feel better when I limit dairy and gluten, so I'm working on it.
2-building up my client base. I'd like to get to $500k in leisure sales this year so I can be done with corporate. But I have a ways to go.
3-dating dating dating. I'd like to go on lots of more interesting dates, not just dinner or cocktails. I'm already planning going for a ride in a fast car and hitting the batting cages. So that's a start!

I really haven't set any actual goals for 2015. I mean, by June, I expect to have completed my residency-training program. After 4 long years, I'll be board certified in the subspecialty of small animal internal medicine with an emphasis in parasitology. :)

And then, I wouldn't mind having an additional 3 vending machines, giving me 30 in total. That's a goal later down the road, because we can barely keep up with the 27 that we currently own.

Bruh, I didn't know you played the piano. If you mentioned it I don't remember. On a scale from 1-10, 10 being the best, how good would you say you are?

LOL. I wouldn't say I "play" yet. I can chord out a few basic songs, but it's nothing you'd want to pay to hear yet. To answer your question, I'd say
"1.5," maybe 2 if everybody got ear plugs. :)

Lmao! Hang in there, bruh. You'll get it.

Hilarious bump, keep it going

2015 was a shitty year for me by the way.

Goals for 2019 instead? I'll start!

1. I've seriously been working on (and apparently succeeding at) staying out of office gossip.
2. Go the Bahamas! Particularly, I want to go to Pig Beach.
3. Maintain a better work/life balance (HA!). I've seriously struggled with that since leaving teaching.
4. Maybe go on dates? I don't know - I kind of hate dating.

ETA: 5. Get re-involved with the local AGD Alumnae chapter. This has also proven difficult since I left teaching.
