Is a Founder's Day event considered public?

Depends on the group, I would hazard to say - are you asking NPC/NPHC/MCG or what?

This is in the AKA forum so probably asking about NPHC.

The OP needs to ask the people hosting the event or see whether the flyer states the event is open to the public.

It is NPHC and the flyer just says XX Chapter invites you to our Founders' Day Event.

Did you receive the flyer as an invitation? Is it posted in a public spot? If it is, I would consider the event open to the public. Contact the chapter to double check.
