Aww, sands... I really wish I could come but I got something else going on. :( A um... certain org had a stepshow/party this weekend out here and suffice it to say I could've saved my money. Are y'all stepping? I tell ya... y'all SMU sorors came on GC full force and then just went MIA! :o

This needs to be called the TX thread. I just got back from the Big XII Conference on Black Student Government where I saw my club and sandz the #5 from Kappa Mu Fall 2K and one of her new girls. They were practicing for the step show...good luck!

So epic odysey wasn't all that, ey? DETAILS, I NEED DETAILS!!!

Girrrl. The show opened with three... count them, three - Sigma teams back to back. They pretty much all wore the same thing and did a lot of the same routines. The only crunk thing about any of them was the Unknown Stepteam with the 2 white boys... when the masks came off we were like whaaaa?? :) I think the problem was that they had way too many frats and not enough females. There were Delta and Zeta teams from PV and an SGRho all-star team that was tight. The Kappas swore up and down there was an AKA team, but.. not so much. The afterparty was soooo crowded.. I'm talking lines of like 100 people, so people were getting all mixed together. Struts that aren't skee-phi suddenly were just because there wasn't enough room without lines combining - it was ridarndiculous. So basically the crunkest part was in-between performances at the show when people were strutting/training/taking it around/whatever you wanna call it in the aisles. Sad, but true. When is Greek Olympiad?

That was me, the neo :D . I wish I could remember exactly who you are, I met soooooo many sorors and frat that weekend. Did you enjoy the conference? That 13 hour bus ride kind of hurt though :( :( Sweetest Diva, I'm sorry the stepshow was uneventful! I was thinking about going, but I had already signed up to go to the Big 12 conference that weekend. The stepshow there was not much better, it had 4 frats (3 alphas and 1 kappa) and 1 sorority (zetas). The Midwest is a little rowdy too, I wasn't expecting that, I don't know maybe it was just me.

LOL...I remember you, I just didn't remember your name. We all learned a strut fron D Xi at the party..I had on black leather pants and a white tank with black graffitti writing.

Yes, I didn't know the midwest was so rowdy..I guess that is a politically correct word to use ;) but I felt the conference was a waste of time..so much could have been better, so much!!!!

SKEEWEE and way to represent Sensational South Central!!!!!!
