anybody have any suggestions?
Hello every1:) ! i am a high school junior and already considering my choices of sororities and colleges! All my life i have wanted to attend Texas Christian University AND be in a sorority. But i am scared of rejection! Does anybody have any suggestions or have any information on the percentage of pledges they bid on each year in Delta Gamma? I have visited their web site and it looks like such a fun environment! thanx a lot!

I am a Delta Gamma at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. As far as your college..I think you've pretty much decided on that...but maybe I can help you with DG. I work with many different sororities on a day to day basis because of my job and I can honestly say that DG is awesome. Yes, of course I'm biased and I highly regard many other sororities, but DG was the only one where I felt completely comfortable, where I could be myself and not worry about being the perfect "sorority type". DG has given me so much this past year. It's given me a true sisterhood and a place to go where I will never be judged.
Inevitably, no one will be able to make the choice for you. You may decide you would be happier somewhere other than DG..and that's FINE! Joining a sorority extends past your college years and is a lifelong committment so:...take your time, talk to the girls about things other than your major, year, dorm, hometown..etc. This stuff is important..but ask question about things you want to know about. GOOD LUCK WITH COLLEGE AND GREEK LIFE! Jenn |
Hi!
I have known a lot of alums from TCU, and they all awesome and have only the best memories of Delta Gamma there. From my understanding, they are selective, but not by only appearance. They really want "quality" girls that will add to the great chapter they already have. With that said, let me know if you have any questions or want any advice... I'd be glad to help! |
