Diem Brown
 

For those who don't know, Diem Brown was on the challenge, a show on MTV. She had 3 bouts of Ovarian Cancer and just died today age 32.

I also just learned she was a Delta Gamma Sister, of the Gamma Mu Chapter.

I read this earlier and got a bit teary eyed. I remember her on one of the challenges back after her first battle with it and she was so strong.

Can't even imagine how CT is feeling right now.

Mourning by re-watching the whole season of Rivals II.
I can't believe her fight is over :-(

Delta Gammas (Beta Eta-University of Texas Austin) Bevin Baughn, Ceci Lopez and Nikki Miller will be riding their bikes from Austin, Texas to Anchorage Alaska over 70 days this summer (2015) to raise money for cancer in the world's largest charity bike ride, the Texas 4000. I am sure Diem Brown will be on their minds. These young women, in tandem with their Texas 4000 teammates, plan, fundraise and spread hope & knowledge during their 18 month commitment to the organization. My DG chapter is Gamma Mu and my daughter was friends with Diem at FSU. She thought the world of this girl, who even as a young collegian was an impressive person.
