I was just wondering if you guys have favorites in this sport :) Im rooting for Michelle all the way (I still think she should have won back in Nagano), but I wouldn't underestimate Sasha Cohen or Irina Slutskaya from Russia.

I'm definitely rooting for Michelle. It should be a pretty good competition. Who are you rooting for on the men's side???

A topic I feel strongly about! :)

Men:
I LOVE Elvis Stojko! And, of course, our American hero Todd Eldredge. Though I hope Todd and Elvis come up winners, I really enjoy Alexei Yagudin's style.

Women:
I am a HUGE Michelle Kwan fan. She has such grace and joy in her skating. Plus, she attends my Dad's alma mater: UCLA!

Does anyone love the men more than the women?
 

Women's skating always gets more coverage, but, personally, I LOVE the men!

i love todd eldredge, but the russian men are so good too!!!
their butts look good in all those spandex pants j/k :D

do u guys watch the pairs and ice dancing too?

Pairs: Kyoko Ina and John Zimmerman
Ladies singles: Kwan -- of course:D
Men's singles: None-My fave is Rudy Galindo and he seems to have disappeared. Anyone know what happened to him??

Ooooh, I love watching the figure skating competitions. I definitely want Michelle Kwan to win in the ladies' competition; I think she was robbed in '98. She was much more graceful and natural out on the ice than Tara Lipinski, IMO.

Oh, I am totally rooting for Michelle Kwan since she is a fellow Bruin!
Another reason I am rooting for her is because she goes to the same dentist as me. I have actually had a couple of conversations with her in the waiting room. It was really cool but definitely weird! But she is super nice and actually pretty down to earth from what I got from her.
