Fraternity woman's role in the decline of the KKK in the 1920s
I don't like to post links to my blog. I figure anyone who is interested in GLO history can find it on their own. Not many people know about Madge and her sisters who sat in the courtroom because she was not able to be there. This is an interesting, albeit a very sad story, and I've kept it to about 750 words.
The Kappa Kappa Gamma chapter lived in the house prior to the kidnapping and two fraternities lived in it after the kidnapping. http://wp.me/p20I1i-1RY |
Very interesting GLO history kudos to Madge and her sorority sisters.
