Aephi at your school?
What is the reputation of Aephi at your school?
|
Smaller, more selective, definite "club-girl" stereotype - tend to be on the wealthier end, but that's more by chance than bidding. Cool girls - we don't hang with them as much as we probably should.
In the middle of the pack in terms of size, campus reputation, on-campus activities etc. |
I'm guessing from your user name that you're also an AEPhi... it's good to see another sister here. :)
AEPhi only colonized a few years ago at my school... from a local sorority. My chapter is smaller than the others on campus... we're very involved in campus activities... and most of the members are Jewish (it just kind of worked out that way). Other than that, we don't really have a "reputation" because we're so new. |
We're pretty small, diverse religiously, and most people I've talked to here seem to have a good opinion of us.

The university from which I graduated in 1989 didn't have an AEPhi chapter, but it did when my mother attended the same school in the early to mid-1950s. One of her best friends was a member. Her friend was from out of town and had been brought up as an Orthodox Jew. On holidays, her mother would prepare traditional dishes for her and send them to her at college. She then would call her friends to her dorm room and share the bounty with them. My mother, who is the best cook I know, said it was some of the best food she ever tasted. So she has a soft spot for AEPhi.
