World-Wide Festivals
 

I am planning to apply for a grant through the World Affairs Council. This grant "offers a unique opportunity for selected educators to travel out of the country and bring their experiences abroad home to their school comnunity." The goal is to help the participant develop a world perspective.

I have thought that since I personally work closely with the Social Studies and Language Arts departments, that a literary or film festival might be appropriate. These can be anywhere in the world, but I am particularly looking for one in the UK.

I have looked online and found several, but know of no one who has been to one of them, and I was hoping that someone on here would have recently attended one and could give me some insight into one that would be interesting.
