He has new albums and has been a bit more visible in the past few months.

Some critics like his new music and some critics aren't impressed with his new material. I haven't listened to his new album but after seeing him in concert I am even more of a fan than before. :) I have a "crush" on Prince.

So, all hail, PRINCE!!! Post your favorite songs from his first album (1970s??) to the new stuff.

When Doves Cry is my favorite song by Prince! I was recruitment chair back then & it brings back great 80's memories. Saw him with Sheila E some years later in concert.The good ole days!

I can't pick a favorite. Love me some Prince. I'm pretty sure that I can sing along accurately with the entire Purple Rain soundtrack even 30 years later.

It's been a rough few weeks to be an iconic famous person...such that the other day when I heard two relatively obscure Prince songs on the radio in a row, I FLIPPED OUT.

I turned on the car and heard the end of the Beautiful Ones and the start of Darling Nikki, and I shrieked and scrambled for my phone to check the news.

It was just a belated birthday tribute. ***PHEW!!!***

My favorite Prince track? Probably Gett Off, with stiff competition from My Name is Prince and Let's Go Crazy.

I adore Prince! He is brilliant. Thanks for the update on his career. i will be on the lookout for new songs.

Prince might be the best concert I've ever seen. The place was out of its mind by the end of the set. (On the other hand, he was 2.5 hours late going on stage and there was no warm-up. Jerk. I'm glad I went, but I won't go again.)

I listened to the new stuff. It's pretty good. Not my favorite, but pretty good.

Prince Rogers Nelson is half of my hybrid spirit animal. The other half is Stevland Hardaway (Judkins) Morris. (I hope you know who that is! ;))

I have "Purple Rain" memorized and I still watch it everytime it comes on. I run that album into the ground. I'm not going to bother to list all of my favorites, because frankly, the list is entirely too long. I love the album "Sign o' the Times." Adore has always been a song that resounded with me and I love "If I Was Your Girlfriend" as well. I love "Raspberry Beret" and the rest of the "Around the World in a Day" album. I also love "Diamonds and Pearls." I like "Call My Name" off of the Musicology album as well.

And I do a MEAN rendition of "Kiss."
