Questions about Theta Chi Cheers for Children

So, being that I was a cheerleader (I was a flyer) I was interested when I saw this fundraiser.

I think this is a great fundraiser though I was curious about:
  • safety issues i.e. what if someone falls etc.
  • how high can the girls stack
  • insurance
  • what standards (rules) are used for judging

Is there anyone here who has participated in this event?

Just a hunch but I suspect most of the girls competing are current college or formal HS cheerleaders. So they're not totally unaware of how to throw stunts safely.

Sure, but you could have the best and most experienced cheerleaders in the world, and you'd still need insurance and safety rules. The best collegiate squads (Kentucky, Alabama, UCF, etc.) certainly do.

It seems ADPi at UCF has a similar event called Cheers for Charity. The event you posted is at at FSU so maybe this type of event is popular in Florida?

Funnily enough, I came across the UCF event on youtube a few days ago and was wondering similar things regarding safety issues and such. It seems like a high-risk event in terms of potential injuries compared to other things I've seen chapters do for philanthropy events.
