Commuter school recruitment

Hi all! First off we are a commuter school with a growing Greek population.
This year alone we had 900 PNMs go through the process and 600 received bids. I believe that we have outgrown our location and we are in need of another place way or form to host recruitment.

My first question is how do other commuter institutions have a recruitment process? I have heard of week long processes during school, weekend processes etc.

Also, what would be some ideal locations to host a recruitment of such magnitude?

Where is recruitment held on your campus now? Clemson is not a commuter school, but since the sororities have floors of dorm buildings instead of traditional houses we run into space issues as well. We use the basketball coliseum on campus for recruitment. The concourse is curtained off into "rooms" for each chapter, and the PNMs sit in the stands in between rounds. For later rounds some chapters move to other auditoriums on campus so that there is more space per chapter.

Holy shinoley. If you had 900 PNMs, you're not a commuter school. Maybe a suitcase college, but not a commuter school.

(FWIW, "commuter school" usually means there are no dorms or very little dorm space (like 5-10% of enrollment).
