Back Up Plan?
 

Would you ever have a relationship back up plan? Or do you have one? Or did you have one?

Meaning back in high school or college, you had a friend of the opposite sex and together the 2 of you made a pact that if by the age of 30, 35, 40, etc. if you were not married, then the two of you would marry each other?

C'mon fess up. This is the topic today on a listserve I am on and I am just not feeling the whole get married out of desperation thing!

There was this guy who has the biggest crush on me. In college, he'd always follow me around and such. He's really a sweetheart, but really not my type at all. When I moved to the DC area a few years ago, he lives here and we ran into eachother. We got to talking and jokingly agreed that if we both reached age 33 and weren't married, we'd marry eachother.

Now that I turned 33 last August, I have been scared to run into him...I ain't tryin' to marry that knucklehead, LOL. Hopefully he has probably forgotten that whole conversation tho. HOPEFULLY...

I also used to tell my CNGE (crazy, no good ex-boyfriend) that if I never get married but still want a kid, that I would want to get some sperm from him because he is quite beautiful, physically. Now my feeling on him is that if we were the last two people on earth, even if I had a turkey baster, I'd be hard pressed to re-populate the earth because he's such an azzhole that I'm not sure I'd want to procreate with him. Go figure.

So naw, no back up plan...not a real one anyways.

I can't say I've ever had a backup plan...I'd rather be by myself if God never sent me the right man.
