HELP! Junior Transfer that knows NOTHING
I'm currently in the process of transferring to a university far away from home for a more direct undergrad degree. At my past 4 year school greek life was very prominent, but out of reach financially. Now that I am transferring and receiving some new scholarships, greek life might be a stretch still, but definitely more do able. My issue now is, I am relatively a first generation college student. I don't very much about greek life other than the philanthropy, volunteer opportunities and sisterhood community. I'm not sure what to expect, but I think I might want to give it a go. Could anyone give me a crash course on it? Any advice for what this Junior transfer should do to out her best foot forward? I'm completely lost, and they don't really make a College for Dummies book. Recruitment starts in mid September, but I'm not sure what that means, what it entails, and what I should do in preparation.

I'd start with this website:
http://www.thesororitylife.com/ Then come back here and read any recruitment threads related to your school or aimed at general tips. |
