Prayer request
Could you all keep my family in your prayers? My grandmother passed away this morning after at least a 2 year long battle with cancer. She has been in the hospital since late August (2001). I get to travel home tomorrow and the funeral is on Friday.
Thanks! Alpha Love and Roses! Sarah |
Oh, Sarah. I am so very sorry for your loss. You will continue to have my thoughts and prayers.

I here for you
Sarah,
Your family is in my prayers. I just lost someone close to me on Saturday to a brain anuerism. Her funeral is Thursday and I am not sure if I plan to attend because I want to remember her as the vibrant, up-beat, generous woman that she was. Knowing that she is safe with Our Father brings me some peace. May GOD provide comfort to you and your family during this sad time. |
Sister, know you and your family are in my thoughts in prayers

Sarah-
I'm very sorry for your lose. Unfortunetly I can understand what you are going through. Both of my grandparents died December 1st. It's a hard time, but with all of the love you are getting from the girls here and your family, you will see that it will get better. Courtney |
Sarah--
Thinking of you so much right now. I lost both of my grandparents on October 31, 1999 and if it wasn't for my sisters and my friends, I have no idea how I would have made it through. Let us know anything we can do. Love you tons. Lesley |
I had to stop in when I saw the request, I don't mean to intrude.
I just want to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I will say an extra prayer for you and yours today. |
Sarah,
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. |
I pray that you and your family find peace and comfort and that you have a safe trip.
Sisterly Love, Hootie |
Sarah,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. You and your family are in my prayers. Take care of yourself. Sisterly Love, Amy |
I just wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. The funeral and such were all really nice. There were about 200 people at the funeral mass and at least 500 at the visitation. I even mananged to make it through giving the euology at mass--though my entire family and most of the others in the church were crying! Another nice thing was the fact that we had so much family here. We had cousins come from Minnesota, Oregon, Michigan, Tennessee, Colorado, etc. There were cousins there that we haven't seen in at least 15 years--and we decided that we were all going to get together more often than every 15 years or so and not just for weddings or funerals!
Once again, thank you for all your thoughts and prayers! Alpha Love and Roses! Sarah |
I wanted to add another prayer request, but not make it too public....
Please pray for the Mu Lambda chapter advisor. She was expecting next month, but unfortunately Monday she suffered a brain aneurism (spelling?). She lost the baby, and has had to have brain surgery. The outlook is getting more optimistic everyday, but she will still have a long recovery process that will most likely mean at least a couple of months in the hospital. |
Forgive me for crashing your boards, ladies, but I wanted to let you know that the chapter advisor is in my thoughts and prayers.
|
Sarah, I will continue to pray for you and your family as well as the advisor during these difficult times!
Roses, Sarah D |
