I've been lurking on GC for a while now, and the process of writing recs and seeing all the 2014 Recruitment threads has made me decide it's time to introduce myself so y'all can help me with my nerves this next year :) DD is a HS senior and has narrowed her college choices to five...she might not know where she'll end up for college, but knows she wants to go through recruitment wherever that might be. Of her options, three are SEC schools and one is Big 12, so her rush experience will be VASTLY different than mine was (think small and non-competitive). I love reading about the process at these schools, and I'm extremely excited for her, but at the same time I can't help but think "oh my jeez, what are we in for?" Here's to fun times ahead! :D

I go to a big 12 school and I absolutely love the Greek life here! I have a friend at A&M who is also Greek and she enjoys it as well. I think the schools with really big, competitive greek systems can be scary, but they are so much fun! I'm sure she will love her experience where ever she ends up :)
