That is terribly unfortunate. Living in the area near this crime and being in the same profession as the victim, I followed it on the news; however, I had not seen the photo or knew that the alleged was a fraternity man.

This is unfortunate for the victim, and the family of the victim. He got arrested with a Kappa shirt on, too. Wow. If I was in his shoes, I would have at least asked the police could I remove my Alpha shirt, if I was wearing one.

My jaw literally dropped when I saw the footage of the arrest. It's not my organization, but all I could think was "Damn! That doesn't make Greeks look good at all."

The whole thing is so sad. She had a little boy. People need to think before they do stuff like this.

A group called Greeks Against Domestic Violence has been created by NPHC org members (individual members, not the fraternities & sororities themselves) as a response to this event.
