Hello everyone I am new here, I want to join a sorority. I have a few questions though, 1st, I am very interested in joining a national sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha, preferably. I was wondering, because I am 22 now and will be going to a community college first this fall, this will be my first time entering college. Then after finishing two years i will be going to university. Would I will be able to rush? 2nd, I was wondering if I could join a local while I am in community college and join national in university? 3rd, I was wondering if there are any local & if regional/national sororities in Michigan that doesn't accept by invitation? I have always wanted to pledge, but I fear I won't ever have the opportunity to because of how late I'm starting off with things in my life all because of certain situations in my life and last, I was wondering if there are any rush recruitment workshops in Michigan near or in Detroit?
