Transcript Question
I'm an incoming Freshman planning to rush in the fall and registration just open for my University. On the online form they require you to upload a picture, resume, and a transcript. My question is: Where do I get the transcript from? At my high school our transcripts are sent out by the registrar, as most schools do I assume. Do they want me to get an unofficial transcript from my high school and scan it? Or can it just be typed out?
I'll definitely be calling to make sure, but I was just curious in the meantime. Thanks :) |

Just a bit of a lane swerve on my part, but different schools are going to use different recruitment processes. It sounds like your school probably uses something similar to my alma mater, which is ICS Recruiter. It allows chapters to peruse potential new members online and identify priority prospects.
We can't be sure if your school is using ICS or some other program, so your questions are best addressed to the Greek Life office. |

You can visit your high school registrar for unofficial copies of your transcript (often these are included in the info you pass to those who are writing recs). Likely the online recruitment registration is asking for a scan of your unofficial transcript (not sure how they would authenticate it as "official" via a scan by the student anyway). |
