Barbara Walter's farewell on The View
 

The View really gave Barbara Walters a lovely send off this morning. I particularly loved the parade of women in broadcasting who came to salute Barbara. Wondering where Ann Curry was? I still feel bad for the lousy treatment she received from NBC upon her departure from the Today Show! Also, I believe that Debbie Matanopolous was in the first row or two, but was not recognized. Yes, she was a disaster on the show, but she was part of the original group. Loved that Hillary Clinton was there! Oprah's ego almost took over the show (but I love her!). Very touching send off over all!

I also enjoyed it. Very tastefully done with nice surprises.

Indeed. :) Walters will be missed.

I ended my daily view of The View months ago because the absence of Joy Behar leaves no one to buffer the stupidity of Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd. Whoopi Goldberg can't handle their stupidity all by herself. I watched The View this week to say "goodbye" to Walters. :)
