Hello. I recently relocated for a job and am interested in getting involved with one of the local chapters of BSP. I have tried working through the national office to connect with a local chapter; however, I haven't heard from any of the local folks. I know I'm being incredibly impatient :) but i'm excited to meet some ladies with common interests. any advice from beta sigma phis? Thanks in advance for your direction and guidance!!

Hello! Welcome :)

It can take awhile to connect with a chapter, but hang in there! BSP is a lot of fun. I've been in both land and online chapters. Feel free to ask any questions. The forum here has been pretty slow, but the sisters on GC are very warm and friendly.

Some of us who are here joined Beta Sigma Phi when we started new chapters of our own (me, Erica812, AngelPhSig are three I can remember off the top of my head), but many women were invited by current members to rush and join their chapters. International does collect your name and contact information if you are interested in becoming a sister, and passes it on to chapters that are located close
to your area. I just checked to see if there were any land chapters around the Myrtle Beach area, and found several. So, they are out there! It just might take a little while to get connected with one.

We're a fun bunch and always happy to answer questions. Feel free to post here and again, welcome!
