The alleged perpetrator is apparently a student at a community and technical college, although he and the alleged victim roomed together at AGR at the U of KY. See

Before the restructuring of (the Commonwealth of) Kentucky’s community college system, students at Lexington Community College (forerunner of Bluegrass Community and Technical College) were part of the University of Kentucky system and students at LCC could pledge fraternities or sororities at UK. However, the community college system is no longer “under” (or part of) UK, so I’m not sure if BCTC students are allowed to join GLOs at UK.

However, if a UK student is on academic probation, they may take a semester or a full year off and attend BCTC to get their grades up. As such, it may be that the alleged perpetrator is a member of AGR but currently enrolled at BCTC.
