Pledge two frats?
I'm in a frat at a small school in upstate new york. we only have two chapters and aren't nationally recognized, but we are a social fraternity recognized by the school.next semester i'm transferring to FSU, would i be able to pledge a frat there?
thanks. |
I don't really know the answer, but I have additional questions if you feel like answering them.
What do you mean by not "nationally recognized?" Do you mean you are not a member of the NIC? Do you mean you are not incorporated? Do you mean something else? Is there a reason you don't want to attempt to bring a chapter of your fraternity to FSU? |
we are not a member of the NIC, we have one brother chapter and both of our two chapters are recognized by the school theyre at, but thats it.
and i didnt even think about starting a chapter, thats a good idea! |
You could pledge a chapter at FSU.

There are lots of regional fraternities and sororities at the SUNY schools. They have a long tradition there but I don't think they would fly elsewhere.
To the OP - yes, you can pledge a fraternity at FSU. I would let your current brothers know you are doing so, just to be courteous. |
