Senior week ideas?

Senior week is coming up in a couple weeks (where you buy the seniors gifts and they don't know who you are until the end of the week... so it's basically like big little week again). The senior I am making gifts for is like a second big to me and I'm really going to miss her next year. So that being said I want to give her the best senior week possible before she graduates. What have you guys done for past senior weeks/what are some good ideas for things I can make?

Since she's graduating she probably doesn't want a bunch of sorority stuff... I feel like after graduation, a lot of decorations just end up in a box. So I was thinking about getting her stuff she can use in her apartment. If I do make her something sorority-related, I was thinking along the lines of a T-shirt pillow or something like that.

You are correct! If you want it to be something crafty, go to pinterest or something and look for things that would be useful in an apartment. Off the top of my head, what about those wine glass tag things? Those seem like they'd be easy to make.

An important tradition in my chapter is for graduating seniors to receive "love books", small scrapbooks with letters from sisters telling them how much they'll be missed, thanking them for contributions to the chapter, etc. When my big graduated I got her one of the travel mugs that can be decorated and put something like "Proud Oregon Alum" on it and she really liked it!

As DeltaBetaBaby said, this is absolutely correct. However, I don't think you have to completely shy away from using some sorority symbols in whatever you make her. I don't know what sorority you're in, but a fleur-de-lis, lyre, anchor, etc. can always be decorative and timeless. You could also use the sorority flower and/or the sorority colors.

Using AChiO's lyre as an example...

I am the mom of an AXO and I love the picture with the lyre. I am going to have to look for something similar for her. I might not even wait until she is a senior.

That button artwork of the lyre is stunning!

What about one of those snapfish (lots of other sites too) books you create? You can add photos and text. They are affordable and a really nice keepsake.
