Any thoughts on those shows?

When will the craze end
 

Haven't seen the chair.

The chamber seemed pretty interesting. But since no one has gotten past the hot/cold stage, it seems so repetitive.

Also, the questions are severly idiotic.
Sample: "When is YOUR father's bithday?"
Sample: "What is your mother's maiden name?"

Okay, I must still be in the Dark Ages because I have not heard of either of these shows. From the titles, they sound like programs about jail or death row, but from the previous post I'll say that they aren't about either one. So, could someone enlighten me. 'Preciate it.

In the chamber, two people go head to head and answer a few quick questions. Who ever wins has to enter "THE CHAMBER".. ooh, wee spooky....Anyways they strip you down to a tee and shorts and put you in a chair. The chair goes in the "THE CHAMBER".... ooh, wee spooky....The temperature can be either excrutiatingly hot or excrutiatingly cold. You are zapped in the back, spayed in the face with water, etc. while you must answer a series of questions. As the levels increase so does the abuse. Then if you make it past that there is supposed to be something else... but as yet, no one has made it past that part.

I haven't seen The Chamber, but The Chair left a lot to be desired. And why is John McEnroe the host?:rolleyes: That was my first clue.

Who is John McEnroe?

Champion pro tennis player during the 1970s and 1980s.
Used to be married to Tatum O'Neal of Paper Moon fame.
But also said some snide things about Venus and Serena Williams. I think there's an earlier thread in this room about it.

That really made me feel old.:)

I saw The Chamber this past sunday.....all I could think was ....WHY??????

FOX has just pulled the plug on "The Chamber" due to low ratings. Thank God! That show was ridiculous!:rolleyes:
